Locus Affinity’s reputation grows from national to international success

WONGPARTNERSHIP

WONGPARTNERSHIP

The recognition of Locus Affinity as the leading new legal practice management system for medium to large law firms has grown steadily with a string of successful implementations and significant tender wins against overseas competition.

Recent wins for the Locus Team include Keddies Insurance Lawyers in Sydney, Aitken Walker Strachan in Melbourne, Morgan Buckley in Darwin and Dwyer Durack in Perth.

To cap off a big few months for Locus, they beat larger US and UK rivals in open tender to win the contract to implement Locus Affinity for WONGPARTNERSHIP for 300 users across its offices in Singapore and Shanghai. WONGPARTNERSHIP is ranked in the top 50 of Asia’s largest law firms by the March 2006 Asian Legal Business report.

WONGPARTNERSHIP is one of the largest law firms in Singapore with over 140 lawyers. A recognised market leader in all its major practice areas, WONGPARTNERSHIP offers a full range of legal services in Banking, Corporate, Dispute resolution, Real Estate and Tax.

WONGPARTNERSHIP’s impressive track record of providing thoughtful, creative answers is a result of the dedication and professionalism of its lawyers and professional support staff. This stems from a shared team spirit of teamwork, a passion for excellence and a commitment to innovation and technology.

Locus’ Managing Director, Mike Russell, Asia Pacific Director, Jeff Quetcher and Executive Consultant Sue Cotterill were hosted by the team at WONGPARTNERSHIP at a lunch to celebrate the contract signing.

The lunch was attended by Rachel Eng and Tan Kay Kheng, Partners; Christopher Cassim, Chief Operating Partner; Vicky Loke, General Manager, Kevin Koh, IT Manager and Janna Wan, Finance Manager.

During the lunch, Rachel Eng said, “ Our decision to choose Locus and Locus Affinity over the competition was due, in no small part, to the quality of service and reliability that Locus has consistently delivered. Our business is growing and we need a practice management system that will underpin our plans for marketing and business development into the future. We also need a business partner that understands our requirements and will work hard with us to realise our goals. We chose Locus Affinity for these reasons.”

Locus has worked with some of the largest and most successful law firms in Asia for nearly 20 years. Throughout this time, Locus has developed software that meets the specific requirements of clients in each jurisdiction. "We don’t just re-badge our software for clients in Singapore, Malaysia and other countries, we develop the specific functionality that our clients needs to meet their unique requirements for security, marketing, accounting, knowledge sharing and financial management” said, Mike Russell, Locus’ MD. “The Locus Team is delighted to create a continuing partnership with our friends at WONGPARTNERSHIP", he added.
