Compatibility of Locus Products with Microsoft Vista and Microsoft 2007 Applications
Locus is pleased to announce the results of testing current versions of Locus products with 32-bit versions of Microsoft Vista, Microsoft Word 2007, Outlook 2007 and/or Exchange 2007.
In some cases, it was necessary to implement changes to Locus software and create later versions in order to achieve best results in testing. However, whilst Locus has done a significant amount of testing, every office is not set up in the same way and with the same configuration. There may be issues that have not been discovered by Locus testing. Therefore, please advise if you are experiencing any problems with using the versions of Locus products outlined below (or later versions) with Vista, Word 2007, Outlook 2007 and/or Exchange 2007.
Locus Affinity
Locus Affinity Version 2.3.3(6) has been successfully tested with Microsoft Vista, Word 2007, Outlook 2007 and Exchange 2007. Details of these and other tested combinations of products are outlined in the Enhancement Notice for Locus Affinity Version 2.3.3(6) available on the upgrade CD.
Locus Practice Management System
Locus Practice Management System Version 3.81(19) has been successfully tested with Microsoft Vista and Microsoft Outlook 2007.
emPower
emPower Version 3.5(2) has been successfully tested with Microsoft Vista and Microsoft Word 2007.
Locus Document Manager
Locus Document Manager Version 3.0(18) has been successfully tested with Microsoft Vista, Microsoft Word 2007, Microsoft Outlook 2007 and Microsoft Exchange 2007.
Locus Information Manager
Locus Information Manager Version 2.2(17) has been successfully tested with Microsoft Vista, Microsoft Word 2007, Microsoft Outlook 2007 and Microsoft Exchange 2007.
Locus Settlement Adjuster
Locus Settlement Adjuster Version 2.5(4) has been successfully tested with Microsoft Vista.
If your firm is planning to introduce Microsoft Vista 32-bit workstation or any of the Microsoft 2007 products identified and you are not already operating the version(s) of Locus products described above (or later versions) please contact your Practice Management Advisor or the Locus Helpline to arrange a priority upgrade.
